Did you know that Iron also contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism?

Therefor human cells require iron in order to obtain energy as ATP from a multi-step process known as cellular respiration. Adenosine 5'-triphosphate, or ATP, is the principal molecule for storing and transferring energy in cells. This all happens in mitochondria – the powerhouses of the cells.

So if you feel tired you may suffer of low iron levels in your body thus making less ATP present in your body. Do not leave your mitochondria alone to fight your tiredness but help it with additional iron.

Make also sure that you lead a healthy lifestyle with good food and enough sleep!
