What makes BlueIron different?
BlueIron's microencapsulated Fe3+ iron works through its active absorption mechanism. This allows your body to get the required amount safely without the disadvantages of regular iron products. Iron contributes to the normal function of the immune system.

Every bottle of BlueIron contains hand-picked wild Finnish blueberries. The berries make BlueIron taste better than you would ever expect from an iron product.

Actively absorbed iron
Our liquid ferric saccharate iron is absorbed via an active absorption mechanism in the small intestine. The iron is microencapsulated, which protects it as it passes through the acidic stomach. The microcapsule dissolves in the small intestine, where iron absorption takes place. Ferric (III-valent) iron causes fewer side effects, such as stomach burning, constipation and nausea.
Iron contributes to the normal formation of red blood cells and haemoglobin.
What is BlueIron made of?
Every bottle of BlueIron contains wild Finnish blueberries. The natural sweetness of the berries and pear also makes BlueIron taste good. The iron is ferric (III-valent) ferric saccharate.
Every dose of BlueIron also contains vitamin C to increase iron absorption, vitamin B12 which contributes to normal psychological function, and zinc and biotin which contribute to the maintenance of normal skin and hair. BlueIron also contains folate, which contributes to maternal tissue growth during pregnancy.
Our Iron
The iron in BlueIron is microencapsulated ferric (III-valent) iron. This makes it safe, because it is absorbed only if the body needs iron. The capsule dissolves when the pH changes in the small intestine, where absorption takes place. There are also fewer side effects than with many other forms of iron.
Iron has a role in the process of cell division.

BlueIron is easy to use and can be taken at any time, even with milk or mixed into any food — unlike many other iron supplements that must be taken on an empty stomach. One dose a day provides a full amount of iron. Iron helps reduce tiredness and fatigue and contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism.
